Why does our garage flood once a week?

Approximately once a week we have a strange leak/flooding in the garage. It appears to be coming from between the wall inside garage and the concrete floor? The first two times it was a substantial amount of water, the third time was a lot less. We are sure it is not the brandnew water heater or the nearly new washer. Do you have any ideas?

Because it is a substantial amount water and it appears to occur regularly as opposed to chronically, I suspect it could be your washing machine, or any equipment that drains a lot of water quickly. Not knowing the layout of your house, where the equipment is located, orwhere the drain lines are situated, I cannot say for sure -- but this is similar to complaints we get about sewer backup caused by washing machines and too much detergent. This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
