How much grease do you put into a Sears Craftsman tiller?
My tiller is making a noise. I think it needs grease. I put some in but it didn't help. What kind and how much do I need to use?

White lithium grease is a good type to use in a tiller transmission. The grease doesn't normally leak out, so you don't need to add grease. You may have some kind of internal problem in the transmission if it has started making noise. I would put one tube into it and see if that helps.
If it doesn't make a difference, you will need to replace the transmission.
