How do I reprogram a remote control for my Craftsman 1/2 hp garage door opener, purchase date 0
I can not reprogram my Craftsman 1/2 hp garage door opener. The date on the opener is 08/02, 139.53681B, FCC ID HBW1255. I replaced the battery with a new one. I have followed the instructions on the motor and it does not work for me. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

I think the instructions I am sending in the link below are what you are already doing. The thing you need to do first is erase all codes from your logic board in the garage door opener. Do this by holding the button on the back of the logic board in until the light goes off. You will then need to reprogram all your remotes.
