Why does my keyless pad not work when the temperature is below 30 degrees?
It is a Craftsman garage door opener 10 years old.

The only logical explanation I can think of, if there is no ice forming between the contacts, would be a weak battery. I recommend replacing the battery and see if it will open the door when the temperature falls below 30 degrees.
Resubmit your question with the model number of the opener and the part# of the keyless pad if replacing the battery does not resolve the problem.
