I undid the red handle bracket to replace rollers. The drive sleeve traveled up to the motor and is stuck in that location and won't reverse to go down to reengage with the door.
You did not include the model or brand of your garage door opener. Not having the model or brand I will assume it is a Craftsman garage door opener and it has the safety sensors on the door.
You may have moved the safety sensors while working on the door rollers. If the safety sensors are out of alignment the door won't go down. The LED indicators on the safety sensors should be lit and not blinking. If there is nothing wrong with the safety sensors I recommend you schedule service and let a technician diagnose and repair the garage door opener.
