How do I get my car remote feature to program to my garage door opener?

I have a 139.53910D garage door opener and a new Honda Accord. I cannot seem to get the built in car remote to learn and open the garage door. My 2 remotes and keyless remote all work fine. What's the secret?

Other than basic programming for your Craftsman remotes we do not have any programming information available. The remote feature integrated into your car is not a Craftsman product but one provided by the car manufacturer themselves.

So you would need to contact the car manufacturer, in this case Honda, to see what their procedure is to program the in-car remote. It may help to tell them you are programming that remote to a Craftsman 139.53910D opener which is a rolling-code type in the 315 Mhz frequency range.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
