How to program remote with old opener?
Per the direction of Sears Part Direct, I purchased a remote control to operate Sears garage door opener model 139.654020. However, none of the included instructions nor the ones given by Sears Parts Direct tell how to program the remote to work with the opener. Can you tell me how to get it to work? I can send a digital pic of the opener if necessary. Thank you.

Your opener still used a series of dipswitches in the opener that were intended to be matched to dipswitches in the remote. Unfortunately, remotes that will work with these older systems are getting hard to find.
