Where can I get an owners manual for my Craftsman garage door opener?
When I lose power I don't know how to open the gargage door manually.

To operate the door manually, look on the track between the motor unit of the opener and the garage door. There is a trolley attached to the chain that should have a short piece of rope hanging down from it. With the door in the down position, pull on the rope. The handle on the trolley will come down and release the door from the chain. Make sure the door is all the way down when you do this as the door might fall shut if it is open.
You can check for the manual online at Manage My Home. On the home page, hold your mouse
over the square labeled "HOME" in the upper left of the page. Choose the option "Find
product manuals" from the drop-down menu that appears.
Then enter as much information as possible in the search options. If nothing is found, check
your product information for errors such as misspellings and be sure you have used only
numbers and letters in the model number (no spaces, periods, etc.). The product might also
be under another one of the "Category" listings.
