Model#139.534345srt, pressing either the remote or wall switch will cause the door to move up every time. It won't stop by pressing either button again or when the up limit switch contact makes contact with the center contact, you have to pull the power cord to stop the motor.
You most likely have a failure on the logic board of the opener.
A problem with the limit switch or the door lift mechanism would not prevent the door from stopping when you push the button a second time, particularly the button on the wall control as it is wired directly to the logic board and would not be effected by battery issues or signal interference like a remote could be. And, we know the wall control itself and the wiring between there and the opener are okay since the wall button will activate door initially.
Considering the relatively high replacement cost of a logic board you still may want to consult a professional for further testing just to be sure.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find a 139.534345srt in the system to recommend a replacement part number so you may want to double-check that number. Once you confirm the correct model number you can use it to find and order parts through your Sears Store or through Sears.com.
