We have a Craftsman garage door opener model number 139.53664SRT2. We have two remotes. We had to change the battery on one and program it again. We used the manual and we couldn't program it. We erased all the remote control codes and tried to add the two remotes again but we could only program one at a time. After we got one to work and tried the steps again for the second one it wouldn't work using the SRT button. It seemed that it erased the keyless entry we had also. I want to try the premium control console but I don't know what the "door control push button" is. Is that the big button that opens the garage door?
According to the model number your garage door opener is a rolling code opener. The logic board on this opener changes the code after each use so that people can't steal your code and get into your garage. The older openers were called billion code openers. You could change the code by erasing the codes and reprogramming. The logic board on the rolling code technology garage door openers will accept either a rolling code remote or a billion code remote. It will not accept both remotes together. The buttons on the billion code remote are gray. The buttons on the rolling code remotes are blue. If your remotes don't have blue buttons this is your problem.
If your remotes do have blue buttons and used to both work the garage door opener one of the remotes has failed. Buy a new remote and see which one of your old ones it will work with and throw the other one away.
The door control push button on the deluxe wall switch is the big button that opens the garage door. The wall switch is not causing the problem with the remotes. It is wired into the logic board and doesn't transmit anything to the logic board electronically. The only way it effects the remotes is if it has a lock button which will cause all remotes to not work with logic board.
