Why can't I program my keyless entry after I program the three remotes?

After I program the three remotes to my garage door opener I can't program the keyless entry pad. If I program the keyless entry pad first the remotes won't program.

I referred to your profile and did not find a model or serial number for a garage door opener. Without a model and serial number for the garage door opener I can't give you a definite answer to your question.

If the buttons on your remotes are blue you have a rolling code opener. The rolling code logic board will accept programs for billion code remotes and keyless entry's. It won't accept both at the same time. It sounds as if you have a new keyless entry and it is for a billion code opener. Did you replace your keyless entry and then have this problem? If so, you will need to exchange it for the correct keyless entry.

Since your remotes work fine and the keyless entry will work also, I think this is the explanation. If you have any more questions please update your profile with the model and serial numbers of the garage door opener and ask your question again. Please include when the problem began and confirm if the remotes and the keyless entry will operate the opener when you program them separately.

The logic board on your garage door opener will probably only remember 6 codes at a time and you will need to erase the codes when you program.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
