What is the part number for the keyless entry pad that should be used with my garage door opener?

I believe there are three different models of keyless entry pads. I know I currently do not have the correct one (53876) since I cannot have both the remotes and keyless entry programmed and operational at the same time. The remotes I am using are the same that came with the garage door opener. Which model number keyless entry pad should be used with model number 139.53910 garage door opener and remotes so the keyless entry and remotes may be programmed and operational at the same time?

The model 139.53910 garage door opener calls for a model 53684 keyless entry.

If your opener model number has a "D" on the end of it (139.53910D) then it would require a 53754 keyless, though if this were the case the opener should not have worked at all with the 53876 keyless.

Using the 53876 keyless on a 139.53910 could work but would create a conflict between the random-code technology and the billion-code which could erase the remotes from memory as you mentioned. Using the 53684 keyless should allow your remotes and the keyless to work at the same time unless there is low battery or some other problem with one of the remotes.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
