Why do my remotes stop working when I program my keyless entry?
I successfully programmed my keyless entry device to open and close the garage door. However, this caused my remotes to stop working. I reprogrammed my remotes, but then my keyless entry no longer worked. Both the keyless entry device and garage door opener are Craftsman brand. How do I get the remotes and the keyless entry to all work at the same time?

When you have this problem, it is because the keyless entry and the remotes are different. One is the older billion code technology and the other is the new rolling code technology. The rolling code logic board in your garage door opener will work with either one, but not both at the same time. Whichever item you bought last is the wrong one.
