I have a Craftsman automatic garage door opener. The door control inside the garage has a small green light that shuts off when the door is down. Now the light is constantly flashing. Is something wrong with it?
If your opener has a "Lock" feature and it will flash this light when the lock is turned on. The feature is intended to limit control to the wall switch only, so you might notice that your remotes are not working either.
Your Manage my Home profile was not completed so I have no way to confirm which model you have or if it has this feature.
If so, there should be a button on the wall switch labeled "Lock." Just hold down this button for a few seconds. Once released, the feature will be off and the opener will be in normal mode again with no flashing lights and fully operating remotes.
If you have no "Lock" button on the wall switch then the flashing light most likely indicates a malfunction of the opener electronics. You would need to have a professional check the system and they may need to reset or replace the control board.
If you complete your Manage my Home profile, you will be able to view manuals online for details about all the features your products have.
