How can I change the keyless entry PIN code on a Craftsman garage door opener?

I want to change the keypad pin code on my Craftsman model 139.53636 SRT garage door opener. Please provide instructions. Also, if there are free on-line owner's manuals for this product, please direct me where to find same.

To change your Keyless Entry PIN code do the following:

1. Press and release the "SRT" Learn Button on your Garage Door Motor unit. (Don’t hold it too long or it will erase all memory and your remotes will need reprogramming).

The Learn Indicator light will come on.

2. Within 30 Seconds, enter your new four-digit PIN code then press and hold the ENTER button.

3. Release the button once the Garage Door Light flashes. If you have no bulb in the unit then listen for two clicks.

The code should be changed. Test by entering your new code and hitting ENTER, if the code is good the door will move.

Many owner's manuals can be found at Manage My Home by clicking on "Find product manuals" in the "HOME" section of the website. If the manual you are looking for can't be found there, please call the Manage My Home Member Services Team at 1-800-803-6775, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Central Time. They will be more than happy to help you track down the manual.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
