How much crushed stone for a patio?
I am putting in a patio walkway, 3' wide by 6' long. How much crushed stone do I need to place in the bottom of the dug pit. I was told I need it 2" deep. How much is that?

The patio is 3' x 6'= 18 square feet. At 2 deep (or 1/6th of a foot), you would need 3 cubic feet of crushed stone. We consider 2 to be the minimum, and we would prefer to see 3, which means you would need four and one half cubic feet of crushed stone.
