Why is my garage door opener malfunctioning?
My Sears automatic garage door opener is not working right. It opens ok with the remote opener, but I must hold the (interior garage) door button down for it to close all the way. Any ideas as to what I should look for to correct this problem?

It sounds like the sensitivity control on your garage door opener requires adjustment. It can only be adjusted properly, if the garage door is properly balanced. See the attached articles for more information.
