How do we find out the code for the garage door opener?
We have a question about our automatic garage door opener: The people from whom we bought our house did not leave us the password for the number pad on the wall outside the garage. Short of buying a new number pad, is there anyway we can find out/change the password? Thanks.

You probably won't be able to find out what the combination is, but you can likely re-program it to a new combination. If the instruction manual for the opener is not still at the house, try looking at the web site for the manufacturer for instructions, or contact a local dealer, since the method is going to depend on the manufacturer and model.
