Replace a Bathroom Faucet

SKILL LEVEL 3

If the bathroom faucet makes your bathroom look like a set from That 70's Show, replacing them is an instant improvement. Not only does a new bathroom faucet give a much-needed decor update, it gets rid of all those leaks and drips. And other than the challenge of working in the cramped space under the sink, it's pretty easy to do, even if you're not handy with plumbing.

  • Step 1 Choose a bathroom faucet

Select a bathroom faucet that requires the same number of openings in the sink that your current faucet has, and the same spacing between those openings.

For easier installation, instead of using the supply hoses that come with the faucet, consider buying flexible stainless steel supply hoses.
