Festive Holiday Arch!

Hi, I am showing you how to make my famous Festive Holiday Arch! I make a homemade arch in October and decorate it for Halloween, then Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Easter. You will need a saw to cut 4 long sturdy 7-8' sticks or branches about 1 1/2" thick, 4 clamps, some screws, a screw gun, and some string or plastic ties.

Get Started!

Fasten the large sticks to your porch posts with the clamps and screws.

Sticks Ready for Arching!

This photo is to show you how your sticks will look before you bend and secure them.

Almost Done!

Look closely at and see how the sticks were bent to form this arch. They are secured by the plastic ties. You might need string too if you your sticks are a little more crazy and need more bending help. Add your other set of sticks to the arch. You are now done and ready to decorate!

Halloween!

This is the Halloween arch...I used extra long sticks with leaves still on them for more detail. I also didn't bend one set of sticks. The kids love walking through the arch at night. The spider webs and orange lights add extra detail. It is very scary and adds a great entrance to your house! Trick or Treat!

Christmas All the Way!

Again, this is the same arch from Halloween just a bit trimmed up! I've added other greens, ribbons, and lights for the Christmas holiday. The snow is real but how lovely! I'm ready to reuse my arch for Valentine's Day and other holidays. Cheers and Happy New Year!

I love the festive addition. It does not interfere with the front porch entrance or style. Great job.
