    FINISHED TOMBSTONES

    You can make your own realistic tombstones. These are very real looking and not too hard to do. I have made over 40 of these tombstones for our front lawn. Not only are they easy to make you can get very creative and make each tombstone different. I use plastic spiders, black roses and I can even personalize each tombstone to put whatever I want written on the tombstones.

      I would like to thank everyone who has voted and checked out my project. I have seen so many great projects. If it wasn’t for managemyhome I wouldn’t have known these truly and inspirational projects existed. I find each and every project unique. I hope that these projects stay up so I can go back and get some ideas on any upcoming projects that I may have. I enjoy making my tombstones and each and every one always come out different and unique. I used the charcoal color liquid used for cement coloring when I want to make different shades of gray tombstones. The color of the cement varies on the drops you put in when mixing the cement. My tombstones are never the same in color as I add different amount of drops of charcoal color liquid in each batch . I actually started this project when I wanted something that would stand up in my yard and not blow away. I spent alot of money on the styrofoam ones and they would break and blow away. You can keep these forever~~ The molds I used are plastic molds, which can be used 100 times!! That is alot of usage and you can make tons of tombstones. The plastic mold is priced about $18.00- $26.00 but is worth it and like I said, you can use each mold about 100 times. As you know, the cement is pretty cheap too for about $3.00 you can get a 80 pound bag and make approximately 6 -8 tombstones per 80 pound bag depending on the size of the tombstone. P.S. Every year I make like 4 of these tombstones for my mailman. I usually give it to him at Christmas time so he can have it for next halloween. He gets so excited when he sees a big package for him sitting for him on our front porch. Also, did I mention that I am a woman ?? so you ladies can do this too!!

      Wow they are GREAT!! Do you get any trick or treaters coming to your house? So realistic I would think it was a cemetery!

      Don’t wanna give out candy or something? I wouldn’t walk up through that cemetary for no treats! These are just the coolest things and look great at Halloween. We have all the stuff to make it even! Except some cement and paints. So easy and cheap for a great impact! Thanks!
