The Manage My Home team is looking for energetic, talented, inventive people to drive a radical customer-facing solution; our goal is to create a home management business where none exists.
To rapidly expand our team, we need analysts with a profound understanding of customer-facing websites, an obsessive dedication to detail, and the compulsion to create an excellent product unsurpassed in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Determining high-level technical requirements and scope               
  • Documenting, defining and reviewing detailed business and functional requirements
  • Working closely with developers and architects to build managemyhome.com
  • Shepherding requirements through all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment)
  • Coaching and mentoring team members

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in systems analysis in developing new and replacement application projects
  • 4+ years experience gathering and developing detailed functional requirements for OO multi-tier applications
  • Experience designing and facilitating solution-envisioning sessions
  • Experience with iterative development methodologies, preferably Agile
  • Knowledge of a testing methodology and/or experience in testing (system, unit, integration, interface)
  • Understanding of data modeling, object modeling, and OO design principles
  • Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • In addition, experience leading process improvement efforts is very valuable, as is experience with customer-facing websites. Strong understanding of capabilities and limitations of programming languages, middleware solutions, application servers and presentation layer tools is a plus, but not required.
